The Amazing Redesign and Return!

Oh my. It's been a long while.

Probably the first thing you'll notice, if you've visited my blog in the past, is a complete redesign. It's still in progress and may have minor changes soon, but the main part is done. A whole new header and layout. (:

You can read some older entries if you so desire, but they're not all that good (the art, and before that especially... the writing. *shudder*.), to the point where I might clear out some of the oldest ones... I've not decided if I shall yet or not. **EDIT** I did clear out the oldest posts. In the oldest posts, I was twelve years old. I took quizzes, and posted their results here with terrible grammar. So I deleted those horrible posts... And I cleared out a bit of the old art, leaving only a few. While before the great purge, I had about 128 posts, I now have 40. Wow. /edit

I plan to be much more active in my blogging, not only writing about art and possibly noveling and such, I'll actually write about other things as well. SO PREPARE YOURSELVES.

I aaaalmost created a Tumblr account. But I said, "Nah. This blog is WORTH IT." XD

Well. Expect posts from me soon.

The Amazingly Delayed Update!

So I just realized that I’ve not updated this blog since last November. Wow.

So here’s a quick update! I’ve still been doing a ton of art, surprise, so I’ll put a few on here… To read about them, just click the titles and it’ll take you the Deviant Art page. (:

Beyond Birthday SpeedPaint

A Smile in Gray

CE The New Challenger

(I only did the character on the left… Ry belongs to Ry-Spirit on DeviantArt.)

Nathalia

Carendell's Saviours

So yeah, that’s a sum-up of the good art that I’ve done. I did a lot of in-between art, but these are the pieces that I like the best. (:

Oh yes, my brother and I started doing some Let’s Plays together on YouTube. (: http://www.youtube.com/user/GCatLetsPlays is our channel, if you’re interested. We only have 2 videos up, because my brother keeps forgetting to send me the other recordings that we have so that I can post them. >.> Nyeh.

Well, there’s not a whole lot more to say, surprisingly.

*waves*

November is COMPLETE!

Guess who finished the NaNoWriMo with 50,735 words? :D

My novel was called Tormentor, and I finished it. I couldn’t be happier! :D

So in celebration of finishing, I have two pictures that I’d like to share :D I drew these during the month of November and told myself that if I didn’t reach 50,000, these pictures would never see the light of day. XD

“Love that would last an eternity, one that Hell’s most fearsome troops could never break" - Crystal ♥

Here are my two main characters, Crystal and Ace. ♥♥♥

Obviously, they are a couple. o3o I want to steal Ace from Crystal, even if he is my own character. Me loves him ouo

... Anywaaay, I've been wanting to draw some sort of kissing pose for a while now, and these two gave me the perfect excuse to do just that :D

And Ace may look kind of sinister in this picture, but he's actually a really nice guy ^_^

Here are my three OCs, (from left to right) Crystal, Tyler and Ace. :D

I wanted to try a different style of shading for this one (: I like how it came out ^_^ These are my three main characters from my NaNo Novel, not including my villans. (I drew a picture of my villans, but it didn't come out good at all... I'll redraw it and upload later :meow:)

So Tyler, in the book, called the three of them Team Cool Beans. I love him. XD Ace doesn't like the name, but he'll just have to deal with that. :D

So yeah! WOOOOOHOOOOO!! *Throws confetti in the air and does celebration dance*

Ah yes, and I completed my novel to the sound of the Ninja Training Song from NinjaBridge by LittleKuriboh :D WIN!! XD

To Make Leaning Unnecessary

A little meme that I came across through a friend… Yeah lol Decided to give it a try (:

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random - The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 - The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/ - The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result.

… Yeah, that’s what I came up with. :D

The Realm of Carendell PREVIEW?

OK, so a looong while back, I did Sims 2 pictures of the characters from my book, The Realm of Carendell. You can see those HERE :D Anyway, I did actually draw the 2 main characters, Arabella and Daravon :3

Full Size and HQ here http://catc0617.deviantart.com/art/The-Hybrids-179029362 (Oh, and a speed paint HERE)

So, yeah… That’s them I guess XD Just yesterday, I reached 10,000 words on the book. 3,100 of those written in one night, one sitting. o.O Anyway, in celebration, I posted the introduction page to my book on Deviant Art :D http://catc0617.deviantart.com/art/The-Realm-of-Carendell-PREVIEW-183165265 You can check it out there ^_^

My AngeL

L with wings. This has NEVER been done before. XD
XD Anyway, a slightly different style than I normally do, but I like it :3
My first time attempting wings like this... Came out pretty good if I do say so myself ^.^
Overall, I'm pretty proud of this picture :D Let me know what you think! (:
Done from sketch to finish on Paint Tool SAI

New pictures and speed paints!

OK, so it’s been a while… And I’ve done quite a bit in the time gone by ^_^

First off, new speed paints! :D

Well, look at that! I finally finished Hatsune Miku! 8 hours of work. 8! HOURS!! o.o Anyway, I'm VERY pleased with the result! :D Horrible background though... I might fix that later... Oh well XD
Done in SAI, from sketch to finished product (:
Click here for the Speed paint video!!
I APOLOGIZE FOR THE HORRENDOUS QUALITY OF THE VIDEO!

Saria! :D

The one problem I had with Ocarina of Time was when Link left Kokiri Forest near the beginning of the game, and he didn't hug Saria or nothing. I mean, he may never see her again!!! ... Anyway, this is how I pictured her after he walked away.

Awwww, she's crying =[

... Anyway, hope you like it ^_^

I drew this without a reference, by the way, so I'm sorry if I didn't draw her completely right... I glanced at a pic of her right before I did the line art, and then later on while coloring just to make sure she had blue eyes XD

*Click here* ZOMG SPEED PAINT VIDEO!! XD

And I also returned to my sketchbook and drew Rem!!

K, so I was watching Death Note, and I watched an episode that Rem was in. So I got to thinking, "Hey, I should draw her!" ... I hadn't done anything in my sketchbook in forever, since I got my pen tablet, but I decided to go back to it ^_^
Bleh, I'm horrible at drawing books -.-
My scanner fails, so you can't see most of the shading :/ Oh wellz
Anyway, enough rambling XD Hope you like it (:

Aaaaand I got a new DeviantID!!

Well, I figured I was in need of a new DeviantID... So I drew one!!! XD
... THE "R" IN "FOR" GOT CUT OFF!!! >.<
To see the high quality, either go to my DA page (http://catc0617.deviantart.com/) OR click this link: http://catc0617.deviantart.com/art/New-DeviantID-173471520
...Yup that's pretty much all I have to say ahahaha

… And that’s about all I’m going to write about… If you want to see anymore of the stuff I’ve done, go to my deviantART (:
